Updates and Day Three Scheduling

Assuming that schedules permit, today's staring contest action will feature five matches. 

First off, in the Eastern Conference semi finals, unit-mates Kirstin and Vinnie will square off to see who will face Charlotte to determine who is the Eastern Conference Champion and who will go on to the finals, to be held either tomorrow or Friday.

Also today, Bryan and Kristen will face off in Western Conference action and the winner of that match will have to face Ryan today to determine who is the best in the West and will go on to the finals!

Meet The Competitors

	DEFENDING CHAMPION NAME: Kristen "KT" Tedesco, aka KTed BIO: Kristen has been honing her staring skills for years. She developed her talent at a young age, as she discovered that staring at her brother was an amusing way to annoy him. At camp, Kristen won every fire-starting competition by staring into a pile of kindling until it burst into flames. As a young adult Kristen paid for her university tuition by taking part in illegal, back-alley staring contests where large sums of money would be wagered.  She also taught Chuck Norris how to stare. Kristen’s many years of staring helped her win the 2010 CMB Staring Contest.  How will Kristen cope with being the reigning champion going into this year’s competition?  Can she pull a repeat and claim victory again?  Or, will she pull a Vinnie and choke early in the competition?  When reached for comment, Kristen wasn’t available, but Chuck Norris was and he had this to say: “Other people blink so much they just assume Kristen does too.  The last time Kristen Tedesco blinked was February 18, 1982, and that was only because the doctor was shining a brilliant light into her eyes.”

	NAME: Vinnie BIO: A lot has happened to Vinnie after 2009 Staring Contest. After a decade long battle with chocolate addiction Vinnie fell off the wagon. The long tours across Ontario speaking to high school students about the importance of eye exams exhausted Vinnie and, after facing hotel room after hotel room stacked with chocolates, the temptation to eat became too great. A downward spiral continued, including some jail time for stealing candies and for reckless eating and driving. After spending some time in rehab with Lindsay Lohan, Vinnie found hope and the light when he became BFF with Lindsay. Long nights of staying up braiding each other's hair, wearing facemasks, and talking about boys showed Vinnie there was hope. Now the call has come and Vinnie will answer. 	NAME: Kirstin "Wood Turtle" Dane BIO: After falling through space and time landing where the Wild Things are, wood turtle became King of all Wild Things by taming them with a magic trick by staring into their yellow eyes without blinking. Oh, they gnashed their terrible teeth and roared their terrible roars – but she mastered them all. In the end they begged: Oh please don’t go! We’ll eat you up, we love you so! Motto: “I’m faster than you think, and honey, I don’t blink.” Last Year: N/A
	NAME: Nick "The Gambler" Gamble BIO: Communications intern by day, card player by night, Nick the Gambler has stared down many opponents across the baize. Watch out or his eyes will make you fold. Last Year: Quarter-Finalist
	NAME: Charlotte "The Blindside" Wilkinson BIO: Unknown Last Year: Eliminated First Round
	NAME: Ryan "The Bionic Catatonic" Thompson BIO: Man or machine? No one knows. Or cares. But this much is clear: All opponents will blink, then sink, his accomplishments will garner much ink, and he’ll celebrate with a drink; but just one (wink, wink). Last Year: FINALIST!
	NAME: Paul "The Eyecon" Doig BIO: You don't even want to know. Last Year: N/A
