Ben Johnson
An eccentric recluse raised in the foothills of the Yukon's Mt. Logan, not much is known of Johnson's past.
It's said that his family gained immense wealth during the Klondike Gold Rush and have wielded their power and influence to run an underground moonshine operation in the Canadian Rockies ever since.
Johnson made an attempt to move away from his family's more unsavory business practices in late 2009, investing millions in extreme and dangerous sporting leagues across the country. His failed Acadian Slingshot Rodeo Association is believed to have caused the death of four llamas and at least half a dozen adolescent chrysanthemums, and charges are still pending following his brief stint into contact sports, The Molson Mont Belle Fontaine Shotgun Invitational. However this doesn't seem to have hampered Johnson's taste for extreme sports, investing an estimated $18 million into the 2009 CMB United Way Staring Contest and, following its massive success, nearly double that for the 2010 event.
True to his eccentric style, in order to help found the league, Johnson brought in a partner sure to raise eyebrows and cause controversy.

Aaron Talbot
Aaron Talbot, former South East Asia staring contest champ, is the originator of the "Eye of God" final move.
He gained his skills the hard way. As a child, he was kidnapped by a secret society of ninja assassins – the Ozunu clan. Eventually, he ran away, swearing revenge against his former master, the depraved Lord Ozunu who once had Talbot's sweetheart assassinated as punishment for a lost semi-final match.
Ozunu's staring contest training was brutal, merciless and extremely controversial. He was oft heard telling his disciples, "Cut him. Failure must be sewn in blood.”
Talbot joined forces with Ben Johnson in an effort to bring the sport to Canada, hoping to introduce the deadly art to a new generation who might one day challenge Ozunu and his bloody disciples; taking back the sport from the shadows and restoring to its former glory.
Since late 2011, Talbot's whereabouts are unknown but rumours abound about a brutal falling out with Johnson that involved an argument over a motorcycle and a chicken burrito.
